Ambassador Cruise Line the new British cruise line

Ambassador sails for the British market from London Tilbury with a focus on premium-value. Ambassador Cruise Line’s first ship, Ambience, will sail from Tilbury in Spring 2022. After completing its inaugural season in Spring 2023, the cruise line plans to extend sailings from additional regional ports including Liverpool and Newcastle on an ex UK no-fly range of voyages.

All cruises depart from London Tilbury, Ambassador Cruise Line’s carefully curated no-fly programme of 33 inaugural year sailings will visit a total of 88 different ports. Featured destinations will include the British Isles, the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltics and St Petersburg, Greenland, the Arctic and Iceland, plus several short break cruises. For the
winter months a range of expedition style voyages will sail to the Canaries, Cuba, the Caribbean, Cape Verde and Scandinavia.

Aurora to return in early 2022 with two new itineraries

Aurora, one of P&O’s best-loved ships and exclusively for adults, will return in style on 20 February 2022 with a 40-night cruise to the Caribbean. Then on 1 April 2022, she’ll head off for a 12-night Portugal and Canary Islands cruise.

Iona Joins the P&O Fleet

During a recent formal handover ceremony with the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, P&O Cruises officially welcomed Iona to the P&O Cruises fleet.

As the first British cruise ship to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), Iona is one of the greenest, largest and most innovative ship yet. And she has a host of surprises in store. With Iona’s luminous glass-roofed SkyDome, on-board gin distillery and whole world of dining and entertainment on board.

Royal Caribbean Suspends Sailings

As the health and safety of their guests remains a key focus at the Royal Caribbean Group. They have made the tough decision to voluntarily suspend cruise operations through 31st October, 2020 (excluding Australia sailings). Additionally, the remainder of the 2020 Europe season and the autumn Transatlantic sailings have also been cancelled.
